Design Thinking is a hands-on, human-centered way to solve problems. It begins with empathy, helping learners understand people and their experiences so they can identify what truly matters and develop creative, meaningful ideas.
Through brainstorming, prototyping, testing, and reflection, learners build creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking skills they can use anywhere. This approach is widely used across business, technology, healthcare, and nonprofit work to create innovative, real-world solutions.
This program is a flexible design thinking experience that can be implemented as a semester-long elective course, an after-school program, a condensed workshop, or a community-based learning experience. The program is designed to be led by educators, community leaders, mentors and anyone wanting to help facilate the design thinking journey for young people.
Shape Tomorrow is a small team of educators and designers who know every young person carries the potential to create something meaningful. We're building the learning experiences that make it possible.
